Our tour begins at 5:00 a.m. with a pickup of passengers at Arequipa’s Plaza de Armas, and subsequently from their hotels if they are located in the Historic Center (Cercado). En route, we will make a stop in Patahuasi, where passengers can enjoy an optional breakfast (not included) and also order their lunch for the return trip. During the journey, we will pass through the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where we can observe South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in their natural habitat.

Later, we’ll take a hike to the Pillones Stone Forest, a magical place with stunning rock formations sculpted by centuries of wind and erosion—perfect for hiking and photography enthusiasts. We’ll continue with a visit to the beautiful Pillones Waterfall, a cascade surrounded by rock formations, accessible via a moderately difficult hike. Then, we’ll make a brief stop at the Lagunillas Lookout, where we’ll enjoy spectacular views of the high-Andean lagoons and the area’s wildlife.

Our next stop will be the Pinaya Geyser, a natural manifestation of the Earth’s heat where we can see steam rising directly from the ground. Afterward, we’ll enjoy some relaxation time at the Pinaya Hot Springs, perfect for unwinding amidst the Andean landscape (we recommend bringing swimwear). At the end of the tour, we’ll head back to Patahuasi for lunch, and then we’ll begin our return trip to Arequipa, arriving around 7:30 p.m.
