At 3:00 a.m., our guide will pick up passengers from their hotels (near Arequipa) and we will head to Chivay (approx. 3-hour drive). We will make a brief stop for breakfast, then continue our journey to Cruz del Cóndor, where we will witness the majestic flight of the condors in all their glory. We will then head to the Pampa San Miguel viewpoint, where we will begin our trek. We will descend along the Colca River until we reach the village of San Juan de Chuccho, where we will have lunch.

After lunch, we’ll continue our hike through the villages of Cosñirhua and Malata until we reach the Sangalle Oasis, a charming spot with a tropical climate. If you’d like, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the heated pool. You’ll have the afternoon free to rest or engage in other activities. In the evening, we’ll have dinner and spend the night at the oasis.

At 6:00 a.m., we will head up to the village of Cabanaconde, where we will enjoy breakfast and board the bus to return to Chivay. Along the way, we will make stops in the villages of Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, where we will visit the Chacapi Hot Springs, as well as various natural viewpoints in the area. Upon arriving in Chivay, we will have time for lunch (not included), and then we will begin our return to the city of Arequipa, making stops at the Volcanoes Viewpoint and the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve. We will also visit the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint and the traditional town of Maca. Finally, we will arrive in the city of Arequipa at approximately 5:00 p.m.
